Dense Phase Conveying

DENSE PHASE In order to understand pneumatic transport, it is first necessary to know what Pneumatic Transport is. The principle of operation of pneumatic transport is that the movement is transmitted to the load by a rapid air flow. In other words, it is to add fluency to the free flowing powder or small particle materials by ventilation. Pneumatic conveying is used in many branches of industry. They are used to take the materials from the silos in a controlled manner and send them to other silos in a controlled manner. Dry and free flowing and micronized granular materials are successfully transported by pneumatic system. The most important of these are: cement, coal dust, ash, sawdust, calcite, dolomite, grain, alumina, ash, cotton and bulk sand, and bulk goods in small grains.

The main advantages of pneumatic transport systems carrying materials with compressed air flow are the absence of losses due to the fact that the products are carried by leak-proof pipes. This condition is especially important for dusty materials. Since it is possible to direct the product transport pipe in the desired direction, space economy is provided.

DENSE PHASE CONVEYING These systems are produced as an alternative to conveying belts, conveyor belts and elevators from mechanical type raw material conveying systems, in order to dispatch granular powder and micronized raw materials in granular form in production lines in industrial facilities. These units work with high pressure air and are used to ship the granular raw material with air, especially for long distances and to be shipped with high capacity.

Whether materials are thin, coarse or free-flowing, whether dry, moist, flaky or pelletized, hundreds of different materials are guaranteed and safely transported by pneumatic conveying systems. According to the chemical and physiological structure of the product, the most suitable pneumatic transport method is selected and moved to the desired point. Compressed air needs are calculated according to product type, carrying capacity and particle sizes, and system selection is completed according to the most suitable air consumption.

BENEFITS OF DENSE PHASE
Specific Benefits of Pneumatic Conveying System are listed below.

• No loss of conveyed material,
• Homogenous shipment of material
• Very little footprint,
• It is a completely closed system,
• Possibility to place in various places,
• Pipes can be placed as desired,
• Moving parts are small and require little personnel.
